Anyone who has raised a child, watched a child, or remembers being a child knows that kids PLAY.  That’s what they do.  That’s what Bellaboo’s is all about.  It’s recreation especially designed for children ages nine and younger.  Oh, and by the way – when children play, they happen to learn.

The colorful and imaginative center features 23,000 square feet of hands-on activities including a block play and construction zone, art studio, and a pretend supermarket, pizza parlor and kitchen.  There’s dress-up, a water table, and a train room complete with locomotive chugging along overhead.  There’s even a room just for toddlers and infants.

Children delight in decorating their own faces in the face-painting studio,
while the climbing structure, slides, and ball pit are the perfect place for energetic play.  Parents are happy that the ball washer keeps the area clean, but kids just like to feed the balls into the target and watch them travel across the ceiling before being dropped back into the pit.

To better serve our visitors, café seating with free Wi-Fi is located in the center of the building surrounded by the play areas.  This enables parents to relax while watching their children.  Healthy and varied food choices make both adults and children happy.  But, don’t take our word for it.   Here’s what Mr. G said after his recent visit:  “This past Saturday my two young boys (age two and three) and I visited Bellaboo's. They had a blast, and I was very impressed with the facility and staff. The center is a hidden gem in NWI and I'm looking forward to our next visit. The rooms and activities gave us plenty to do in the four hours that we were there, and the restaurant-quality pizza we had for lunch was a surprise.”

The five private party rooms with Bellaboo Buddy party hosts provide the perfect place for that special birthday boy or girl.  Heather wrote, “My husband and I hosted our son’s 5th birthday party at Bellaboo's yesterday and we couldn't be happier.  Our birthday buddy did a fantastic job, as did all of the staff at Bellaboo's.   The facility is so clean and your staff is extremely friendly.  All of our guests had a great time.  Bellaboo's is truly a unique facility and a great asset for Northwest Indiana and the community!”

Bellaboo’s also offers reserved school and group Discovery Trips for young students.  It’s not a daycare center or drop-off location.  With safety in mind, children must be accompanied by an adult, and adults are not permitted in Bellaboo's without a child.

The Center, open year-round, is THE place to bring little ones for LOTS OF FUN.  Check online for days, times and admission fees at or call us at 219-963-2070.  Three Rivers County Park is located at the intersection of 28th Avenue and Colorado Street in Lake Station, Indiana.
